Desmond Bikoko
AA Accounting, 1997
Desmond Bikoko, AA Business Management, AA Accounting, shared the following about his time at CWC.
I attended CWC as an international student from 1994 to 1997. Riverton, Wyoming was my first entry point into the United States of America, and I was very surprised as to how warm and
friendly people were. During my stay at CWC, I was actively involved in a number of on-campus clubs and became President for the International Student Club and was elected to the Student Senate body. I have very fond memories of CWC, Riverton and the people. It is my opinion that every international student should first experience life at CWC before proceeding to other major cities. For that reason, I recommended a few African Students to CWC and I am thinking of sending my two daughters to CWC for their first two years of study.
After CWC, I transferred to Bellevue University where I obtained Bachelor of Arts Degree in Leadership. Thereafter I attended Colorado Technical University where I obtained an Executive-MBA as well as MBA in Project Management. Thereafter, I proceeded to earn a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Degree specializing in International Business from Northcentral University. Upon graduating with my Doctorate, I returned back to Malawi and founded my own company called Madison Holdings (www.madisonmw.com).
In 2017 I followed my lifelong dream of becoming Mayor and was elected and became Mayor of Lilongwe, Malawi’s Capital City of 1.2 million people. After my term as Mayor ended, I returned to run my businesses on full time basis.

* Madison Business Advisory (Corporate training and Consultancy)
